Cue is a mixed-use residential project of approximately 91 market-rate units on six levels plus a floor of retail at the ground level and one level of below-grade parking is located at E. Pine Street and Harvard Avenue within the Pike/Pine Urban Center and Pike/Pine Conservation Overlay Districts. The building contains a new residential core within the brick facade of the iconic character structure that is home to the Bill’s Off Broadway restaurant.
The site’s adjacency to a large grassy knoll at Seattle Pacific University influenced the form and positioning of corner units and lofts. Colorful panels on upper levels reflect the historic brick and blue facade of the Egyptian Theater building next door and offset the Cue’s own brick facade at the street level.
The building features several amenities for residents that derive benefit from the Cue’s position in Capitol Hill. The common room features a kitchen plus a balcony that overlooks the activity of the restaurant below. A small patio near the residential entry overlooks the open space of an adjacent mixed-use project that is activated by additional retail and a local brewpub. The richly landscaped rooftop has seating and BBQs around a bocce ball court with outstanding views of downtown Seattle and Lake Union.
