Redmond City Hall

Redmond City Hall

Creation of a sustainable, accessible landscape for the new LEED® certified city hall (designed by MulvannyG2 Architecture) was the City`s goal. The five-acre downtown parcel was adjacent to the Sammamish River and the river landscape was extended into the site. Groves of native trees were incorporated into the plan. Recycled wood was used to create a terraced deck that extends from the building’s west façade; a deck that serves as a gateway to the adjacent Sammamish River Trail. The site also includes a new arrival court, civic plaza, public art, and parking.
