Marketing Specialist

This person will write engaging copy and research upcoming pursuits in support of HEWITT’s marketing and business development efforts for public agency work. Please include a writing sample in your application.

  • Write, prepare, and produce customized technical proposals, qualification packages, and rosters; coordinate with staff and sub-consultants on proposal planning for agency work
  • Ability to distill technical concepts into a clear narrative
  • Document editing capabilities, including spelling, grammar, structure, and flow
  • Collaborate with leadership and technical staff to research, develop and support strategic planning for our target markets
  • Collaborate with other marketing and technical staff members to tell project stories in a compelling and strategic way
  • Track, write, and submit award submissions
  • Coordination of in-house photo library on Open Asset
  • Interest or experience in working with public agencies
  • Strong writing, storytelling and editing skills with a focus on quality control
  • Excellent research, critical thinking, interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with ability to work efficiently and independently under pressure
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Deltek Vision or similar CRM software and Open Asset
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, or journalism
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing for a consulting firm in the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industry

Project Architect

As Project Architect, you are highly organized and have a strong, collaborative relationship with project teams through every phase of project work. You are a go-to resource, known for having clear solutions for technical issues, and experienced in consultant coordination and project documentation.

  • Collaboratively contribute to team, studio, and firm efforts
  • Exhibit understanding of the design philosophy of projects, generating thoughtful solutions to architectural problems
  • Lead team in the preparation of construction documents
  • Coordinate documentation with the consultant team
  • Resolve project-related technical challenges through sound decision-making, judgment, research and collaboration
  • Work with entitlement and permitting agencies
  • 10+ years of experience in architectural practice
  • Strong Revit skills
  • Experience with Seattle permitting process, preferred
  • Proficient with building code analysis, Seattle Building Code experience preferred
  • Proficient with zoning code analysis, Seattle Land Use Code experience preferred
  • Experience working in Microsoft Windows networked environments, including proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Professional degree – Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture, or similar
  • Professional Architect registration, preferred, but not required
  • LEED professional credentials are a plus
  • US citizen or hold a US work visa
