Construction Contract Administrator

Our architects performing design services during construction are straight-shooter professionals who keep projects on track using sound knowledge of architectural principles and practices. They are passionate about helping concepts come to life.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Project Principal, Architect, and Designer to carry concept from design to reality
  • Solve project-related technical problems through sound decision-making, judgment, research and collaboration
  • Review and respond to RFIs and Submittals for light rail stations under construction
  • Participate in coordination​ meetings with client, contractor, and affiliated consultants  as needed​
  • Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews​ as needed​
  • ​Prepare drawings to reflect work directives and change orders ​         ​
  • Collaboratively contribute to all team, studio, and firm efforts
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience with significant experience with all stages of project ​including design development ​and overseeing construction phase work
  • Transportation experience; knowledge of and proven experience working with Sound Transit culture, operations, design standards, and program requirements ​is a plus
  • Professional Architect registration; other registrations and certifications (ex. LEED AP) encouraged
  • Professional degree (Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or similar)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Revit​ and CAD​ is required
  • Must be a US citizen or hold a US work visa

Project Manager - Architecture

Our Project Managers are cool under pressure because they are clear communicators and able to manage multiple responsibilities. They are clear leaders who inspire and mentor others.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop projects of medium to large scopes of work
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and schedules
  • Lead project team and client meetings
  • Lead in-house design team meetings
  • Lead consultant coordination with affiliated disciplines
  • Lead coordination with entitlement and permitting agencies
  • Lead document coordination and production
  • Participate in public agency meetings
  • Collaboratively contribute to all team, studio, and firm efforts
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with significant project management and design development experience; sustainable design experience with LEED Certification is a plus
  • Professional Architect registration; other registrations and certifications (LEED AP) encouraged
  • Professional degree (Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or similar)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Revit is required
  • Must be a US citizen or hold a US work visa

Project Architect

Our Project Architects are versatile, creative, and confident with all phases of project development from concepts to construction administration.

Responsibilities
  • Develop projects under minimal supervision
  • Articulate design and construction concepts graphically in support of project goals
  • Complete accurate production work through all phases of design through completion
  • Coordinate design with affiliated project consultants
  • Coordinate with entitlement and permitting agencies
  • Prepare building details
  • Participate in in-house, project team, and client meetings
  • May be Project Manager on small projects
  • Collaboratively contribute to all team, studio, and firm efforts
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience with some project management and design development responsibilities including project team coordination and design experience with a variety of project types
  • Professional degree (Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or similar)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Revit is required
  • Ability to articulate design and construction concepts graphically
  • Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
